25-Sep-2017 Changes to health certificates required for the import of meat preparations and meat products
The required BSE attestations at point II.2.9 of the specimen health certificate for meat preparations and meat products have changed. |
For the specimen meat preparations certificate laid down in Decision 2000/572/EC, the new wording required at point II.2.9 can now be found in Annex I of Decision (EU) 2017/622.
For the specimen meat products certificates laid down in Decision 2007/777/EC, the new wording required at point II.2.9 can now be found in Annex II of Decision (EU) 2017/622.
Certificates with the old wording will continue to be accepted for consignments landed before 31st December 2017 providing the certificate is issued no later than 30th November 2017.
If you are importing meat preparations or meat products, please take the necessary steps to ensure future certificates which require point II.2.9 to be certified have the correct new wording.
